Hi! I’m Brenda Bonnee, the sole tax preparer for B2 Taxes, Inc.

I started the company in 2005 and started preparing taxes in January 2006 with my business. Prior to that, I began working for H & R Block in 1996. I worked for H & R Block for 10 years and in 1999 I received my Enrolled Agent certification from the IRS. My primary tax preparation focus is individual tax return preparation, but I do prepare some 1120S, 1065, 1041 and 990 tax returns for small businesses, trusts and estates, and charitable organizations. Additionally, I do have some clients who have 1099, payroll and sales tax return preparation needs.  

I have a variety of additional experience. Some of previous employment includes: real estate appraising, mortgage lending, title insurance closing document preparation, and various bookkeeping duties. In 2004, I began working for the State of Michigan.  My experience with the state includes human resource applications, accounting duties, and administrative management duties. 

In 2016, my husband, Bill, retired from the Michigan Department of Corrections, and began helping with my tax business. Bill assists clients with scheduling appointments, answering general questions, and corresponding with clients when their returns are completed. He has been a great help and is learning more each year. 

2026 will be the first year that I will not be accepting new clients. Since leaving the MDOC in 2022, my clientele has grown immensely. This is largely due to my loyal customer base who have so kindly recommended their family and friends. THANK YOU! With all the tax law changes, I will be focusing all my efforts on serving my
current clients in 2026.
